The aim of the event is to:

  • Learn the role of Marketing, Sales and PR in a startup business.
  • Learn the emerging trends and technologies being used by leading entrepreneurs
  • Solve an entrepreneurs dilemma “ Maximizing revenues of an unknown brand with limited budget” 

 

Speaker : Kevin Flavin

Kevin Flavin has held leadership positions from start-up to large, multi-national financial software and services companies, including Sungard, Charles River Development, Base-Two Investment Systems, GCom2 Solutions, Inc. and Bowne & Co. His breadth of product management, sales and marketing experience includes successfully carving new products out of existing product lines and opening new markets for existing products.

 He has held senior executive positions in companies for sale and acquisition, delivering the pitch to investors, due diligence, presentation and negotiation phases. In addition to Carlisle Group, he is currently the Vice-Chairman of Alliances for the IEEE Boston Entrepreneurs' Network, and a member in good standing with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Kevin is also a member of the American Marketing Association and one of the many bloggers for the AMA.

Catherine, President of Weber Media Partners, has come full circle over the last 15 years in transforming her firm from a PR and Marketing Communications company to an interactive agency providing social media services to predominately B-to-B clients. Catherine has developed a thoughtful approach to bring small- and mid-size businesses into a conversational world. The client portfolio includes the National Park Service, mid-size technology firms, and notable organizations such as Lahey Clinic, William Raveis Real Estate, Bose Corporation, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Top of the Hub Restaurant. She is a regular Speaker at the Blank Entrepreneurship Center  at Babson.
